Party Food Ideas

What is essential to have at a party? Food!

Here you will find unique and delicious party food ideas to make your next gathering unforgettable.

If you are having a casual gathering, it is perfectly fine for you to keep your party simple (and inexpensive). However, you should still have some snacks around. Especially if alcohol is served, it is a good idea to have something out to munch on. This could be as simple as buying some bagged snacks, like chips and pretzels. Take it one notch up by serving a packaged chip dip. How easy it that? Serving mixed nuts is simple too and adds variety to just having chips.

If you are interested in making some of the snacks yourself, look no further. Just check out my collection of party snack ideas for easy snacks to prepare ahead of time so that you can just serve it when ready.

salami roll ups Want to get a bit fancier? Try serving some hot or cold appetizers. These can be made ahead of time and are really delicious. Appetizers work well on their own and can be the only food that you serve at a party. If you make four or five different appetizers, in many cases there is no need to serve a main dish. My collection of easy appetizers are enough to fill up your guests’ stomachs on their own.

Main courses are best served on a large table, using warming plates, crock pots, chicken piccata and roasting ovens, to keep everything nice and warm. This works well for large groups of people, who can come through the line buffet style.

I also include a collection of cake decorating ideas if you are making your own cake, birthday cupcake ideas, dinner party recipes (for a formal, more sit-down affair), and super bowl food and tailgating recipes! Enjoy browsing and feel free to add your own great recipe to the collection!
